Abstract :Carduus transcaspicus Gand. subsp. macrocephalus Arènes Kazmi’nin Türkiye’deki yayılışı belirlenmiştir. Carduus transcaspicus subsp. macrocephalus ile yakın akraba türleri arasındaki farklılıkları tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca, betimi, lokaliteleri, yayılış haritası ve akraba türleri ile ayrım anahtarı verilmiştir
