Abstract :Osmanlı Devleti’nin İttifak Devletlerinin yanında savaşa girmesiyle birlikte İngiltere ile de savaşmak zorunda kalmıştır. Türk ordularının İngilizlerle savaştığı cephelerden birisi ve en önemlisi Çanakkale cephesi olmuştur. Bu cephe ile ilgili her iki taraf çok sayıda literatür yayınlamıştır. Çanakkale cephesi hakkında Türk tarafının aksine İngiliz resmi yayınları oldukça erken dönemde, 1920’lerde yayınlanırken, Türk tarafı 1978’den sonra yayınlamaya başlamıştır. İngilizlerin yayınladığı Çanakkale Cephesi’ne ait resmi yayınlarından bir tanesi de istatistikî bilgilerdir. Derli toplu olarak yayınlanan İngiliz resmi istatistik yayınında Çanakkale Cephesi hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler bulunmaktadır. Bunlar, Çanakkale’deki toplam İngiliz kuvveti, ölü, yaralı, esir ve saire tüm zayiatı, subay, astsubay ve er ile İngiliz ordusunda bulunan milletlere ve aylara göre zayiatı kapsayan ayrıntılı bilgilerdir. Bu bilgilerle, Çanakkale’deki Türk kuvveti ve zayiatı ile mukayese yapabilmek imkânı olabilecektir. The Dardanelles was the most important front among Turkish fronts. Both sides published a lot of books about  it. On the contrary the Turks, British had published official history about the Dardanelles in the early period and the Turks had published official history after 1978. Among British official history about the Dardanelles was statistics. There is detailed information such as British total force, detailed British total casualties.
