Abstract :Les pigments bruns et brun-noirâtres des Orthopteres fai- saient partie des melanines jusqu’â ces dernieres annees. R. C h a u v in a decrit, en 1938, un nouveau pigment brun chez Schîstocera gregaria et il l’a appele: l’acridioxanthine.
