Abstract :“Hansen’s method of perturbation has been applied to the motion of Mars by Cle- mence, to thefirst order in 1949 and to the second order in 1961. It has never been applied to the motion of the Earth. The current ephemeris of the Earth is based on the Newcomb theory given in the Astronomical Papers Vol. VI. İn the present work we will apply Han­ sen’s hethod to find the motion of the Earth perturbed by Neptün. A comparison of secular perturbations of the motion of the Earth given by Newcomb and Hansen met- hods shows a good agrreement.”
