Abstract :Climate change is one of the crucial problems facing our world. Countries, international organizations and non-governmental organizations are making efforts to find solutions to climate change and problems related to climate change. Governance theories and the economic, social and environmental problems our world is facing have also increased the responsibilities of states. In this context, the states are expected to exhibit sensitive and responsible governance to global problems. Responsible governance is becoming more complex with environmental justice, responsible and sustainable production and consumption elements. Standardization plays an important role in finding solutions to climate change problems, reaching UN SDGs, and ensuring sustainable production and consumption. This article examines the green standardization and sustainable product standardization studies carried out to develop solutions to climate change problems and to provide a better future. This article also introduces the sharing economy to the reader for a sustainable future. This article demonstrates the importance of standards for ensuring responsible governance and achieving the UN SDG.
