Abstract :Dental implantların kısa ve uzun dönem başarısı osseointegrasyon ile doğrudan ilişkilidir. Bu kriteri ortaya çıkaran parametreler ise implantı çevreleyen kemik doku ve implantın yüzeyidir. Günümüzde implant çevresindeki kemik oluşumunu aktive etmek veya hızlandırmak amacıyla çeşitli mekanik ve kimyasal yüzey işleme teknikleri geliştirilmiştir. Nanoteknolojinin bilinen ve var olan yüzey hazırlama yöntemlerine farklı bir yaklaşım açısı kazandırmasıyla birlikte klinik başarı yüzdesi belirgin şekilde değişim göstermektedir. The parameters of these criteria are the bone tissue and the surface of the implant. Today mechanical and chemical surface treatments were developed to activate and accelerate the bone formation around the implant fixture. With the additional advances of nanotechnology to common surface preparation techniques the clinical success percentage upgrades evidently.
