Abstract :Amaç Porselen tamir setlerinin gargara kullanımı durumunda metal ve porselen sistemleri üzerinde başarısının kesme bağlanma dayanımı yöntemi ile değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem 160 Krom- Kobalt örnek; yarısı metal, diğer yarısı porselen olacak şekilde ikiye ayrılmıştır. Porselen kısımlara Vita VM13 ve Ceramco II işlenmiştirinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=80); örneklerin diğer kısımları metal kalmıştır insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=160);. Örnekler distile su, Klorheksidin, Listerine ve Cervitec ağız gargaraları ile muamele edilmiştir. Her örneğe 2 adet simante edilecek şekilde 5x5x5 mm boyutlarında 320 kompozit rezin blok hazırlanmıştır. Örneklere üniversal test cihazında 1 mm/dk hız ile makaslama kuvveti uygulanmıştır. Veriler iki yönlü ANOVA analizi ve post hoc Tukey testi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular Ortalama değerler Bisco grubunda Vita= 9,23, Ceramco=7,7, Metal=7,02 ve Ultradent grubunda Vita= 7,93, Ceramco=10,1, Metal=5,16 MPa şeklindedir. Ultradent tamir setinde Vita porselendeinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4,97MPa, p=0,05); ve metalde insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3,85Mpa, p=0,05); Klorheksidin anlamlı derecede düşük değerler verirken, Ceramco grubunda gargara kullanımı anlamlı bir fark oluşturmamıştır. Bisco tamir setinde Vita grubunda gargara kullanımı kesme bağlanma dayanımı açısından anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturmazken, Ceramco ve metal gruplarında Klorheksidin ve Cervitec, Kontrol ve Listerin grubundan anlamlı derecede düşük değerler göstermiştir. Sonuç Tamir setlerinin başarısını porselen sistemi ve gargara çeşidi etkilemektedir. Metal üzerinde Listerin ve Cervitec anlamlı etki göstermezken, tamir seti fark etmeksizin Klorheksidin kullanımı bağlanma dayanımı açısından dezavantajlıdır. Anahtar kelimeler: gargara, kesme bağlanma dayanımı, porselen tamiri Effect of Mouthwash on Shear Bond Strength of Intraoral Porcelain Repair Sets Aim The aim of this study is to evaluate the success of porcelain repair sets on metal and porcelain systems by using shear bond strength method. Material and Methods 160 Cobalt Chrome specimens were prepared in the dimensions of 7 × 15 × 30 mm and divided into two parts, reflecting metal and porcelain. Vita VM13 and Ceramco II were processed in porcelain partsinsert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n= 80); and the other parts remain metal insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(n=160);. Specimens were treated with distilled water, Chlorhex, Listerine and Cervitec. 320 composite resin blocks were prepared in the dimensions of 5x5x5 mm to be cemented on specimens. Specimens were kept in distilled water for one day and shear bond strength was tested at universal test device insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1 mm / min);. Data was evaluated by two-way ANOVA and post hoc Tukey test. Results The mean values for Bisco group were respectively Vita = 9.23, Ceramco = 7.7, Metal = 7.02 and for Ultradent group Vita = 7.93, Ceramco = 10.1, Metal = 5.16 MPa. In Ultradent group Vita insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(4.97MPa, p = 0.05); and Metal insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(3.85 MPa, p = 0.05); subgroups showed significantly lower values with the usage of Chlorhexidine, use of mouthwash did not make significant difference in Ceramco subgroup. In Bisco group while the use of mouthwash in Vita subgroup did not create a significant difference, but Chlorhexidine and Cervitec showed significantly lower values than the Control and Listerine groups in the Ceramco and Metal subgroups. Conclusion The porcelain system and mouthwashes have a significant effect on the success of the repair kits. Listerine and Cervitec has no negative effect but Chlorheksidine regardless of the repair set, will be disadvantageous in metal groups. Keywords: mouthwash; porcelain repair; shear bond strength
