Abstract :In this article, the principle of liberty of contract is examined according to Islamic Law, by considering the views of schools of Islamic law. In this context the views of schools of Islamic Law are classified in three major groups and the evidence of each groups is discussed. In result, it is examined that whether the liberty of contract is essence, on principle, according to Islamic Law or not
