Abstract :This paper is concerned about the religious conversion, as a global phenomenon, and its effects on family. Religious con version cases increase with those participate to new religious movements since 1970`s. These movements introduce themselves as /I`alternative religions” and `alternative fam`ily units` This paper will summarize parents`reactions and other children those assume the attitude to convert. Finally it will emphasize the function of family in religious socialization. Because there is a strong relationship between family intermarriage and religious socialization
