Abstract :Bu çalışmada Recep Alpyağıl`ın `Türkiye’de Otantik Felsefe Yapabilmenin İmkanı ve Din Felsefesi` adlı kitabı analitik bir okumaya tabi tutulmuştur. Kitapta Türkiye`de otantik bir felsefe geliştirmenin olanakları tartışılmaktadır. Tartışma ünlü filozof Paul Ricoeur felsefesi üzerinden temellendirilmektedir. Türkiye`de otantik bir felsefe geliştirilememesi; geleneğin ideolojik olarak dışlanmasına, gericilikle özdeşleştirilmesine ve gelenekten beslenen özgün bir prototipten yoksun olmasıyla açıklanmaktadır.
