Abstract :Divan-ı Hikmet, is an important book that offers savings of Islamic culture and civilization with their own language and introduced Islam closely with the Turkish nation. For this reason, Divan-i Hikmet tells what is more important rather than tells how. It is also important when assessing how it presented the course literature window. However, in the dawn of an era where Turkish is not fair to expect him to reveal outstanding literary forms. Nevertheless, Divan-i Hikmet have done extraordinary work that will be using the best infrastructure for their period, It has contributed signifi cantly to the establishment phase of Turkish poetry, especially, it has been important infl uence on later folk and mystical folk literatüre
