Abstract :Tam adı Charles Louis de Secondat, Baron de la Brède et de Montesquieu olan ve genel olarak bilinen adıyla Montesquieu 1689 yılında Bordeaux’da soylu bir ailede dünyaya gelir. 1755 yılında Paris’te öldüğünde ardında iki önemli büyük yapıt bırakır: İran Mektupları insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1721); ve Kanunların Ruhu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1748);. Yapıtlarıyla sadece hukuk ve siyaset bilimine yaptığı büyük katkılarla değil aynı zamanda toplum ve yaşama ilişkin kuram, görüş, düşünce ve eleştirileriyle de ün kazanır.
