Abstract :Özet 13 Mart 1924\`te kabul edilen Ortaöğretim Muallimleri Kanunu, öğretmenliği bir meslek haline getiren ve öğretmenlere daha önce sahip olmadıkları birçok hak ve yetkiler veren önemli bir kanundur. Bu kanun, Türk milli eğitimi için önemli bir adımı oluşturmaktadır. Makalede, bu kanunun maddeleri ile ilgili olarak TBMM\`de yapılan önemli tartışmalara yer verilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Ortaöğretim, Eğitim, TBMM, Kanun, Encümen. Abstract The law of the teachers in secondary education accepted in 13 March 1924, make art of the teacher as a profession. By way of this law, teachers have a lot of rights which they didn 1 have earlier. This law is an important step for Turkish national education. In this paper, it is investigated the arguments on the law\`s articles in Turkish National Assembly. Key Words: Secondary education. Education, Turkish National Assembly, Law, Commission.
