Abstract :İnsanlık    tarihinde    bireyler    hep    birşeylere    inanmak    gereksinimi duymuşlardır. Bu inanç sistemi dini oluşturmuştur. Dinin inanç sistemi, insanın kendi varlığını  fark etmesini sağlamanın yanısıra, evreni ve yaşamı yorumlama ve yaşamı anlamlı kılma gibi pek çok  aşamalardan geçmiştir. Bu süreçte devlet ve din hep etkileşim içinde olmuştur. Laik sistemde  insanlar, inançları ve ibadetlerini uygulamada tamamen özgür olmak durumundadır. Ancak, Türkiye  Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşundan ve laikliğin kabul edilmesinden bu yana, Türkiye’de özellikle din  eğitimi konusunda pek çok sorun yaşanmaktadır. Bunun nedeni, Cumhuriyetin ve sonra da laik sistemin  kurulmasının çok hızlı bir şekilde topluma empoze edilmeye çalışılmasıdır. Oysa, toplum yaşamında  bu iki kavrama ve uygulamaya bireyler hazır değillerdi. Böyle bir yapısal değişimle karşı karşıya  kalan toplum, bu durumda en yaygın ve geleneksel değerlerine sarılmıştır. Dolayısıyla, laik eğitim  sistemi içinde din eğitimini okullarda yapılandırmak önemli bir sorun olmuştur. Anahtar kelimeler : Din ,Türkiye’de laik sistem , din eğitimi. During the history of mankind, people need to believe in something. That belief system is called religion. The belief system of religion went through various phases for the  human being not only to realize the self but also to interpret the universe and life and to  concretize the meaning of life. Therefore, state and religion have always interacted with each  other in historical process. People’s beliefs and religious exercises are entirely up to their own  conscience and free will in secular system. That’s why, since the declaration of the Republic and  acceptance of secularism, Turkey has gone through problems and difficulties concerning especially  teaching religion. The reason was that, the foundation of the Republic and the secularization of  the legal system suddenly took place – nearly in the same way as a Revolution. The society was not  ready for these two concepts and their dominance over social life, yet. Faced with such a change of  structure, societies reflexively cling to their most common and highest values. At this point , the  most important problem has been the teaching religion in schooling within the secular education  system. Keywords: Religion, secular system in Turkey ,education of religion .
