Abstract :Bu çalışmada, Jane Austen\`ın Gurur ve Önyargı romanındaki klasik İngiliz Edebiyatı ve modern okuyucu üzerindeki öğretimleri üzerinde durulmuştur. Austen bir kadın yazar olarak erkek ve kadın karakterlerinin ilişkilerini, yaşantılarını, genel dünya meseleleri olarak vermiştir. Bunlar değişik mekanları, zıt karakterleri, kullandıkları farklı dilleri ve en genel konular olarak; aşk, para, evlilik, sınıf ayrımlarını, bireysel acıları, kaderi vb. kapsayan genel, sosyal, dünya çapında konulardır. Yazar, kendi bireysel ev eğitiminden kazanımlarını, klasik eseri ve mükemmel bir roman yazım tekniğiyle ortaya koymuş, yalnızca kendinin de üyesi olduğu toprak sahibi İngiliz orta sınıfın temel değerlerini öğretmekle kalmamış, ele aldığı en temel insani konularla birlikte, günümüz yirmi birinci yüzyıl insanına bile birçok değer kazandırmıştır.             Anahtar Sözcükler : Roman, aşk, para, evlilik , kadın, e rkek,   This study shows that Austen\`s novel Pride and Prejudice insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1813); influenced both the classical English literature and the modern reader. The female writer re-evaluates the relationships between her female and male characters, their daily interests in their lives, and the similarities between the general worldly matters. These include settings, conflicting characters, language, and themes such as love, money, marriage, social class, suffering, and faith, social and moral issues. Jane Austen learned a lot from her home education and she produced a classical super novel. Jane Austen also addressed the same issues in her other novels but their conclusions were fundamentally different. Jane Austen deeply believed in the powers of the landed country gentry of her time while her beliefs were shaped in humanism, and they had different social sources, but these ideas also have the implications for the twenty-first century.                  Key words: Fiction, love, money, marriage, man, woman,
