Abstract :SUMMARY Treatment of the periodontal pooket is often complicated by a proximity of a frenum or some muscle attachments. In such a case frenectomy must be carried out. Pockets that extend apical to the mucogingival line have been a difficult problem for clinicians. Gingiveotorny procedures could remove all of the attached gingiva, and the gingivectamy wound involves alveolar mucosa. For this reason, the technics for deepening the vestibule are deviced These are: 1); Simple vestibular incision 2); Denudation 3); Periosteal retention 4); Apically repositioned flap operation 5); Laterally sliding flap operation 6); Edlan\`s metod 7); Free gingival graft All of these technics were described and some interesting pictures presented in this report.
