Abstract :ÖZET Bu çalışmada ağız içi muayene ve panoramik radyografiler yardımıyla 8-18 yaş arası 17 mongoloid çocukta diş eksikliği araştırılmıştır. SUMMARY In this study, oligodontia in 17 mongoloid children between      8-18 years of age were investigated by intraoral examination and by taking panoramic radiographs. Of the 17 patients examined, 10 had oligodontia, and the remaining 7 patients showed complete dentition. Of all the cases , where radiographs were taken, oligodontia was observed most commonly in lower second premolars, less commonly in upper lateral incisors and in upper second premolars. In this study, it was decided as an evidence that oligodontia was present mostly in upper and lower second premolars and lower second incisors.
