Abstract :ÖZET Çene kemiklerinde görülen miksomların çeşitli özelikleri tanıtıldı. İ. Ü. Dişhekimliği Fakültesi Patoloji Kürsüsu\`ne 1971-1973 yılları arasında gelmiş olan 6 miksom va\`kası incelendi. Hastaların yaşları 28-76 arasında değişiyordu, üç hüstü erkek öbür üç hasta ise kadındı. Tedavi yöntemi olarak eksizyon ve küretaj birlikle uygulanmıştı. Yalnızca küretaj uygulanmış olan bir vakada residiv görüldü. SUMMARY Six cases of central myxoma or/and myxfibroma of the Jaws are reviewed. The radiographs of the tumors showed unilocular cystic radiolucency. In one of the cases insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Case 3); an impacted third molar tooth was seen insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Figure 1);. The lesions were curettaged after excision. In the fourth case, only curettage was performed, and one year later, a new mass developed in the same area Therefore the affected area of the maxilla was resected. Possible etiology of the imyxoma is discussed.
