Abstract :ÖZET Çeşitli tür imp Iantların tanımı yapılmış, implant yapılacak hastada sistemik değerlendirmenin, implant cerrahisinde pre ve post medikasyon ve anestezi konularının önemi belirtilmiştir. Endividuel lam limplantların planlanma prensipleri, hazırlanması ve avantajları ortaya .konmuştur. Endoossöz lam implantın retansiyon özelliği yüksekliğinden değil antero-posterior uzunluğunda olduğu için, mandibula ve maxilla üzerindeki önemli dokuların traumatize edilmesi ihtimalinin az olduğu açıklanmıştır. SUMMARY The author has defined different types of implant prosthetics and summarized the importance of pre and post-medication and anesthetics in implant surgery. The principles in the design technic and advantages of the use of endosseous blade implants have been explained. The retention of the endoosseus blade implant depends on its antero-posterior length rather than its vertical depth, thus there is less chance of damaging the vital structures that appear in the mandible or the maxilla.
