Abstract :ÖZET Dişlerde ikiz oluşumlar embriyolojik gelişim sırasında herhangi bir nedenle meydana gelen patolojik olaylar sonucunda ortaya çıkabilmekledirler. Bu araştırmada geminasyon, füzyon ve makrodonti gibi terimler bir olgu nedeni ile gözden geçirilmiş ve tartışılmıştır. Üst çenede iki adet sürekli dişinde ikiz oluşum saptanan çocuk hastanın dişleri radyolojik ve klinik olarak incelenmiş ve kesin tanı koymanın zorluğu belirtilmiştir. ABSTRACT Dental twinning results from abnormal events in the embryologic development of teeth. In this report traditional nomenclature of twinning anomalies insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(gemination, fusion and macrodontia); is reviewed and discussed. This report documents the case of a young patient who presented with dental twinning anomalies in two permanent teeth in the maxilla and describes the impossibility of assigning precise diagnostic terms.
