Abstract :Servet-i Fünun topluluğu ve Meşrutiyet dönemi edebiyatında eser veren, özellikle coşku dolu millî nesirleriyle şöhret bulan Süleyman Nazif, Fransız romantik ressam Eugene Delacroix hakkında da bir şiir kaleme alır. Bu şiirde Fransız ressamın sanatına duyduğu hayranlığı dile getirir. O’nun, Eugene Delacroix`a hitaben bir şiir kaleme almasında, ressamın romantik olması, meşhur “Liberty Leading the People” insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(Halka Önderlik Eden Özgürlük); tablosu ile ressamın eserlerinde Türklere de yer vermiş olması etkilidir.
