Abstract :Çağdaş dönemde Müslüman dünyada fikri dirilişi/yenilenmeyi ifadeden çeşitli düşünce modelleri üretilmiştir: Kimi `İslami modernite`, ``İslami gelenek`ten söz ederken kimi de ıslah, tecdid, teceddüd, İslami devrim v.b. modellerden söz etmektedir. Bunlar içerisinde entelektüel çevrelerin zihniyetini en çok etkilemiş olanlardan ikisi, `İslami modernite` ve `İslami gelenek` tartışmalarıdır diyebiliriz.
