Abstract :Modernizm, insanı evrenin yeni hükümranı olarak görüp hakikat ve hürriyetin mutlak ölçüsü durumuna yükselttiğinde, onu nesne ile ilişki içerisinde güç istemiyle donanmış özne biçiminde tasavvur ediyordu. Modern özne-nesne ilişkisinde özne animalis rationalis, akıllı ve hayal gücüne [herhangi bir şeyi [göz-]önüne getirip yerleştirebilme/kurabilme kabiliyetine] sahip bir hayvan kabul ediliyordu.
