The genus of Rumex (Polygonaceae) in Istanbul and the new check-list of Polygonaceae in Türkiye

Rumex is an important genus of the Polygonaceae family. It is represented in Türkiye by 28 species insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(but two are suspicious); and seven hybrids. There are nine Rumex species in Istanbul. Rumex bucephalophorus is a rare dune plant and is known from only two places. In contrast, the R. crispus species, in particular, has been collected from most areas. All distributions of investigated species are recorded on the maps. In addition, all Polygonaceae members in Türkiye are listed in light of new developments.
