Abstract :In intertextuality method method a writer composes a new text by gathering either other authors` different texts or his own. According to the method every text has impressions of previous ones. These impressions are carried into literary work in a rather transformed way. Selim İleri, in his Kırık Deniz Kabukları, coherently brings forth a new text by composing different writers` writings in which it is easy to see texts of Servet-i Fünun considerably take place. Selim İleri`s work is mainly based on Halil Vedat`s life Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil`s son.
