Abstract :The article deals with the language situation, language policy. It is also considered the theory and practice of language planning in Kazakhstan. The analysis of a language situation from the point of view of a demographic nonequality, an ekzoglosnost, an olisubjektnost, vitality of the Kazakh language is carried out. The problem of revival of language is considered. The assessment of efficiency of policy of the language Renaissance in Kazakhstan is given.
