Abstract :The article deals with the role of digital technologies in the development of human capital. In addition, the features of digital technologies in the field of education are described. The influence of digital technologies development on educational technologies is described. The importance of studying the elective course `digital technologies in education`is stated for the formation of digital competence of future teachers.
