Abstract :The purpose of this article is to compare the native language textbooks of the 1st grades of Kazakhstan and Turkey.Textbooks are one of the most effective sources of education. Texts in textbooks are necessary to understand the language, to perceive the beauty and richness of the native language, the ability to speak and love. This study examines the topics and types of texts in the textbook ―Sauat Ashu‖ presented by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016, and the textbook ―Türkçe dersi‖ presented by the Ministry of National Education of Turkey in 2018.
