Abstract :The author seeks to substantiate the fact that the symbols of the ancient Turkic tribes influenced the formation of ancient Turkic inscription. This article discusses the views of other scientists of this research area. The author reviews and analyzes the scientific works of famous turkologists. The topicality of this paper is the conclusions against the idea that the ancient Turkic writing was formed from Western countries or under the influence of other peoples writings. The article interprets the views of ancient Turkic scripts of such scholars as DG Messershmidt, F. Stralenberg, V. Thomsen and V. Radlov, who founded the Turkic sciences in the XVII-XVII centuries. To scientifically substantiate his position, the author relied on the work of eminent Turkologists, such as A. Amanzholov, K. Sartkozhauly, N. Bazylkhan, A. Kairzhanov.
