Abstract :The article discusses the legal and ethical characteristics of research aimed at changing the structure of DNA. The analysis of the basic provisions and norms in the field of genetics and Biomedicine. The article explains the ethical and legal issues of the method of `processing`, allowing to replace a certain gene with another gene in the DNA structure. In addition, there is a lack of legal acts aimed at regulating this sphere in the conditions of intensive development of medicine.
