Abstract :In this article the philosophical thinking of Abay Kunanbaev ―Words of edification‖ is investigated in comparative aspect with the Turkic collections of verses ―Yrk-bitig –Book of guessing of the future‖, with the priest work ―Avesta‖ which was created by steppe prophet Zaratushtra and was called East wise heritage, and also with ―Dao de Jing‖, work of famous philosopher Lao Zi which is the founder of fundamentals of Dao philosophy of Chinese people. ―Words of edification‖, the work of great Kazakh writer Abay Kunanbaeyev, which was made in his old age, is compared equally at the scientific level with above-mentioned East philosophical heritages. Also the specifics, eternity of philosophical thinking of Abay are shown here.
