Abstract :The article considers information about the role of folk pedagogy in the education of the legal culture of college students. It specifies that the legal culture of a student is determined on the basis of knowledge, understanding of Law, respect and guidance of Law in the social environment. The article focuses on the explanation of the basis of folk education, the importance of national traditions and customs, the problems of educating the legal culture of youth through the ―Book of words‖ by Abai and the rules of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly in formation of the concept of national consciousness and life among young people. Culture is the whole complex of results and forms of human actions, formed in social practice and handed down from generation to generation. And the legal culture of students is the knowledge and understanding of the law by students; it manifests itself while respecting and guiding of Law in the social environment.
