Abstract :The article discusses the features and methods of using philosophical categories in the works of S.Kondybay. In his research, S.Kondybay widely uses philosophical terms to justify the author`s mythological concept. Criticizing philosophy and the Humanities in General, S.Kondybay argues that they do not rely on a common paradigm. And also criticizes the Humanities for ignoring proto-science – mythology. In his research, such categories as ontology, myth, metaphysics, absolute, symbol, irrational, transcendent, time, cosmos, model of the world and others were widely used. The article States that philosophy has an important ideological and methodological significance in S.Kondybay`s scientific research.
