Abstract :Inthearticle, the old belief swhich were common in the Kazakh lands before Islam and the Silk Road that contributed in spreading of those beliefs, also the emergence of the Islamic religion in the modern Kazakh territory, its development and spreading will be examined. In addition, the compatibility of the Islamic religion to the old beliefs of the nomadic people and the spread of the new religion in southern Kazakhstan are discussed in three periods. Finally, the similarities between Islam and old beliefs and the emergence of new concepts will be examined.
