Abstract :Supplier selection is the process of determining the most suitable supplier to provide the goods or services a business needs. This process directly affects the effectiveness and efficiency of the business\\\'s supply chain. Sustainable supplier selection is an approach that aims to establish long-term and sustainable business relationships by taking into account economic, environmental and social responsibility criteria when selecting a business\\\'s suppliers. This concept includes the evaluation of sustainability-oriented criteria in addition to traditional supplier selection processes. Sustainable supplier selection is an important issue for businesses such as risk management, cost savings and efficiency, competitive advantage, customer satisfaction and loyalty, long-term collaborations, environmental and social responsibility, innovation and innovation, financial performance, legal and regulatory compliance, workforce and employee satisfaction.
