Abstract :Marriage is one of the most important institutions of the societies. Civil wedding constitutes legal factor at the beginning of the marriage. Although civil wedding contract at the Ottoman Society was arranged according to the Islamic Law, it had lived many problems in its implementation. For that reason the Ottaman state has taken many arrangements. In this context, the manuscript has contained this kind of documentations. As it will be elucidated below, this article will reveal both the containing of the manuscripts and with the help of the findings will be clarified, as factor of social life, different matter that occur with the civil wedding application
