Abstract :Omuz ağrısının en sık nedenlerinden biri subakromial sıkışma sendromudur. Tedavide öncelikle konservatif tedavi uygulanır. Konservatif tedavide nonsteroid antiinflamatuar ilaçlar, sıcak-soğuk uygulamalar, fizik tedavi yöntemleri ve subakromial bölgeye steroid enjeksiyonu kullanılabilir. Omuza kortikosteroid enjeksiyonu sonrası septik artrit nadir görülen fakat gelişebilecek sonuçları açısından ciddi bir komplikasyondur. Bu yazımızda subakromial sıkışma sendromu nedeniyle subakromial bölgeye steroid enjeksiyonunu takiben septik artirit gelişen bir olguyu sunduk.
