Abstract :The industrial development since 1960 can be summarized as fclk:>ws: - The share of industrial production in GNP has increased. - Relative changes have been observed in the production of the sub-sectors of the manufacturing industry. - There has been an important change ill the product mix of industry and a tre,nd towards import substitution in production h8s been notec.
