Abstract :Bilindiği üzere, göçer Türkmen grupları, Orta Asya`dan Anadolu`ya göç ettiler. Osmanlı yönetimlerinin iskân siyaseti nedeniyle, göçer toplulukların çoğu yaşama tarzlarını değiştirdiler. Yörük olarak da adlandırılan bazı göçer topluluklar, yaşama tarzlarını Güney Anadolu`da devam ettirmektedirler. Bu makalede, göçer Yörüklerin sosyal ve kültürel özellikleri ele alınmaktadır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Orta Asya, Anadolu, Göçer, İskan Siyaseti, Yörükler ABSTRACT As known, nomadic Turkmans groups have immigrated from Central Asia to Anatolia. Because of settlement policy of Ottoman governments, most of nomadic groups left their life style, today. Some nomadic groups, called as youruks, have been maintaning their life style In Southern Anatolia. In this article, social and cultural characteristics of nomadic youruks are explained.
