Abstract :Ü lgener Osmanlı D evleti ` nin son yıllarını yaşamış, Türkiye`nin iktisadi tarihi konusunda önemli eserler bırakmış bir iktisatçıdır, sosyal bilimcidir. Yaşam biçimini eserlerine yansıtmış bir düşünürdür. Eserleri arasında önemli bir yer tutan “Zihniyet ve Din” ile “Darlık Buhranları ve İs lâ m İktisat Zihniyeti” adlı iki eseri bu makalede değerlendirilecektir .   Anahtar Kelimele r: İktisat Zihniyeti, Tasavvuf, Üretim, İktisadi Ahl â k, Tasarruf, Protestan A hl â kı   ABSTRACT Prof. Dr. Sabri Ulgener who was born in the last years of Ottoman Empire is an important economist and sociologist in the economy history of Turkey. Sabri Ulgener was affected by his neighborhood and period in which he lived. This effection can be seen in his works. There are two important books of him called “Zihniyet ve Din” and “Darlık Buhranları ve İslâm İktisat Siyaseti”. In this research these two books are investigated and evaluated.
