Abstract :ÖZET Sömürgecilik en basit ifadesiyle iktisadî kaynaklara el koyma çabasıdır. Daha geniş ifadesiyle de iktisadî, psikolojik, biyolojik, dinî ve kültürel sahalara yönelik kabul edilemez uygulamalardır. Sömürülen, insanın bedeni, toplumun inanç, değer ve kültürü, en nihayet bizatihi insanlıktır. Tarihte ve bugün devam eden söz konusu uygulamalar farklı yüzler ve kimliklerle karşımıza çıksa da sömürü devam etmektedir. Tarihin kara sayfalarında çok sayıda sömürgecilik yoluyla görülen uygulamalar vardır. Bunların en önemlilerinden ikisi Amerika yerlilerine yönelik gerçekleştirilen soykırıma dönüşmüş uygulamalar ve siyahîlerin köleleştirilmesidir. İlkinde bir ırk tarihten silinmiş, ikincisinde ise etkileri ve farklılaşmış uygulamaları ile devam eden bir ıstırap söz konusu olmuştur. Görülmektedir ki; yeni “meşru temeller” inşa edilerek sömürü devam ettirilmektedir. Tarih, sonu gelmez bir şekilde devam etmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Sömürgecilik, Kölelik, Yeni kölelik, Soykırım. ABSTRACT The simplest expression of colonialism is an attempt to confiscate of economic resources. In a wider definition it is a process which involves unacceptable applications in economic, psychological, biological, religious and cultural fields. Exploited human body represents faith, values and culture of the community eventually the humanity itself. Altough the applications in the past and today have diffrent faces and identities, the exploitation goes on. In the black pages of the history there are a large number of applications that were put into practise through colonialism. The two most important of these applications are applications turned into genocide against American Indians and enslavement of blacks. In the first mentioned application a race has been wiped off the history and in the second application a kind of suffering is going on with its effects and differentiated implementations. It can be seen that colonialism is being continued by building new “legitimate grounds”. The history continues in the same way. Key Words: Colonialism, Slavery, The New Slavery, Genocide.
