Abstract :Jesus, The Prophet of God, as A ?Word [Revelation] in Flesh? Mentioned in The Qur?an and Hadith In this article, relying on the records in the Qur?an and prophetic sayings insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ah?d?th); I analyze the Christian perception of Jesus as a ?word [revelation] in flesh?. Even though the records in question do not describe Jesus directly as ?the word became flesh?, I argue that the Qur?an and prophetic sayings admit this description for Jesus in an indirect manner. In this context, I call attention to the fact that these records describe the Qur?anic revelation itself and Jesus with similar characteristics, such as ?the word of God insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(kalim?t All?h);?, ?spirit insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(r?h);?, ?sign insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(?yah);? and the like.
