Abstract :Abstratc Because of his religious and social studies, Dihlawi is regarded as a leading scholar in his period. Even he is considered as the reformist or mujaddid. Throughout his life, his religious studies had an aim to experience the old and tried to revive. However, the reformist is not a person who revived the old, but re-interpreting religion according to the terms of the time, bringing a new fresh. The most important obstacle which is not to reach to such a conclusion which adheres strictly to the hadith and could not leave the culture of the sect. Opinions and thoughts of Dihlawi when carefully examined does not seem to reformist or mujaddid. He can be seen as someone who works to bring solutions to the religious problems of his own society. There are questions need to be answered: May it be academic to accept the inspiration and the dream as a source of knowledge? Is it possible to use it as a scientific proof? Can it be scientific to base a system on dream?
