Abstract :Kentlerin çevresel açıdan bozulması ve kentlerde yaşayanların yaşam kalitesinin düşmesi nedeni ile günümüzde pek çok ülkede yaşam kalitesinin yükseltilmesine yönelik araştırmalara ve projelere ağırlık verildiği görülmektedir. Bu kapsamda, Uluslararası Standardizasyon Organizasyonu insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(ISO);, 2014 yılında şehir göstergeleri için ilk defa ISO 37120 standardını geliştirmiştir. Bu mektupta konunun önemi, standart çerçevesinde değerlendirilmektedir.
