Abstract :When looking at the history of the Azerbaijani people\\\'s resistance movement, it is possible to understand that it has quite complex and profound aspects. The period of the tumultuous struggle, which coincided with the 1920s-1930s, has the potential to be analyzed from many aspects. One of these aspects is the fact that the issue has become an object of discussion, taking into account the influence of the Kurdish national minority on the development of the movement. As we know, since ancient times, the Kurds, who have settled mainly in the regions covering the territories of Western Azerbaijan, Zangezur, and Karabakh, became active participants in the popular resistance movement that expanded in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century. As a result of their support, the defense of this place against the Dashnaks and the newly formed Soviet government was successfully carried out in a short time. It should be noted that a number of Kurdish originated heroes also had a decisive influence on the expansion of the popular resistance through the kachagh movement. The struggle continued with the same determination in the late 1920s and early 1930s of the 20th century, when the resistance processes against collectivization began. This, of course, caused widespread discontent in official circles and led Soviet Russia to engage in some kind of disruptive activity. However, despite the government\\\'s multi-directional activities and attempts, it was not possible to realize its desire to break the ties between the local population and the Kurdish minority by inciting national hatred as one of its favorite political moves. One of the most important innovations brought to attention in the article is the approach to the 20-30s of the 20th century of the Western Azerbaijan, Karabakh, and Zangezur people\\\'s resistance movement from the perspective of the participation of the Kurdish ethnic community.
