THE IMPACT OF PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT ON ORGANIZATIONAL DEPRESSION AND DEDICATION

Abstract :Psychological status of employees and feelings of belonging to the organization has gained considerable momentum within organizations. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of perceived organizational support on organizational depression and dedication. In this study where the impact of perceived organizational support on organizational depression and dedication is examined, a questionnaire form consisting of four parts was applied to 237 participants that were reached by easy sampling method. All of the filled questionnaire was included in the analysis. The demographic information form is in the first part, “Organizational Depression Scale” developed by Sezer insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2011); is in the second part, “Perceived Organizational Support Scale-Short Form” developed by Eisenberger et al insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(1992); and adapted to Turkish by Öztürk and Eryeşil insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2016); is in the third part, “Job Engagement Scale” developed by Rich et al insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2010); and adapted to Turkish by Kurtpınar insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(2011); is in the fourth part of the questionnaire form. SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 software packages were used in data analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis method within the scope of validity of the scales, item analysis insert ignore into journalissuearticles values(inter item correlations, Cronbach Alpha); method within the scope of the reliability was used. According to the research result, the perception of organizational support has a negative and significant effect on organizational depression and a positive and significant effect on organizational dedication. Perception of organizational support, organizational depression and organizational dedication levels no significant differed significantly by gender, marital status and generations.
