Abstract :Bu derlemede bitkilerin transformasyonunda kullanılan gen transfer yöntemleri tartışılmıştır. Agrobacterium yoluyla gen transferi ve mikroprojekti1 bombardımanı, bitki protoplastlarına gen transferi ve DNA enjeksiyonu gibi doğrudan gen transfer teknikleri karşılaştırmalı olarak sunulmuştur. Bunlara ilaveten her bir tekniğin avantaj ve dezavantajları tartışılmıştır.
