Abstract :Mâturîdî mezhebi Türklerin yaşadığı coğrafyada yayılmıştır. İslam geleneğinin oluşmasında Mâturîdîlerin önemli bir yeri vardır. Mezhebin hadis anlayışı, mensuplarının hadis ve sünnet algısını da belirlemektedir. Bu çalışma Mâturîdîlerin bilgi teorisi bağlamında hadisin sıhhat tespit ve anlama metotları üzerinde durmaktadır. Dolayısıyla Mâturîdî ile birlikte hicri altıncı asra kadar yaşayan âlimlerin eserleri çerçevesinde kaleme alınmıştır.
