Abstract :Aim: This study aims to conduct a quantitative evaluation of academic publications in the field of family medicine in Türkiye from 2013 to 2025. This includes analysing the trends and the evolution of research within this period. Method: For this study, 364 full-text academic publications in the field of family medicine, sourced from various academic databases, were analysed. Most of these articles were published in Turkish. The publications were categorized into research articles, reviews, case reports, letters to the editor, review articles, and other relevant genres. Results: The results indicate a significant increase in the volume of publications over the years, with 2024 recording the highest number of publications. A considerable variation in the distribution of articles by the journal was observed, with some journals showing a more intensive focus on family medicine. The publications mainly concentrated on five key areas: family medicine practices, education and specialty training programs, management and prevention strategies for chronic diseases, outpatient clinic functioning, and patient satisfaction. Conclusion: The study reveals a growing interest and development in the field of family medicine in Türkiye, as evidenced by the increase in publications. This trend reflects the current situation and potential future directions in family medicine, both nationally and internationally. The findings of this study serve as a significant reference for future research in this area.
