Abstract :Aim: This study aims to explore the link between effective collaboration among nurses and the safety of intrahospital transfers. Material and Method: This cross-sectional study, conducted between April 15, 2024, and June 28, 2024, included 501 nurses employed at a city hospital who agreed to participate. Data collection was carried out using the Personal Information Form, the Intrahospital Transfer Safety Scale, and the Nurse-Nurse Collaboration Scale. Results: The average score on the Nurse-Nurse Collaboration Scale was 3.18 ± 0.55, while the Intrahospital Transfer Safety Scale had an average score of 3.01 ± 0.54. Nurses working in intensive care units outperformed their colleagues in the operating room, emergency department, and surgical wards on the Nurse-Nurse Collaboration Scale and also scored higher on the Intrahospital Transfer Safety Scale compared to those in the emergency department and surgical wards. Conclusion: Inter-Nurse Collaboration was found to significantly enhance the safety of intrahospital transfers. Developing protocols to strengthen nurse collaboration is recommended to improve the quality of care in healthcare services. Keywords : Bakım kalitesi, Hemşire, Hemşire iş birliği, Hastane içi transfer güvenliği
